About Jamaican Dawta (JD)

“Dawta” – Jamaican Creole for girl, woman, “sister”.

Spiritual.  Freethinker.  Skeptic. Still waters.  Writer.  Yoga and Zumba enthusiast.  Loves water and mountains.  Terrified of heights and “forty legs”.  Hates all forms of intolerance, injustice, and ignorance. Loyal friend.  Dog-lover.  Bookophile.  Favourite colour – turquoise.  All-time favourite comfort food – cornmeal porridge with coconut milk and nutmeg.  Loves the smell of fresh, clean sheets, freshly-baked bread, the scent of earth after the rain, coffee, and scented candles.  Has a weakness for cheese, dark ch0colate, frozen caramel cappuccino, and eclectic jewellery.  Sisterlocked.  Vegetarian.  Jazz, Reggae, Rock, and Old School music lover.  Romantic.  Unpredictable.  Work-in-progress.
