Happy New Year, everyone!
Already, 2008 is almost a week old. Nevertheless, the excitement that I normally feel upon the dawning of a new year hasn’t waned, so I’m still basking in that glow.
Apart from the thrill coursing through my veins, due mostly to my plans and goals for this year, and to some opportunities that have recently arisen from various quarters, I have another special reason to walk around with a gigantic grin plastered on my face. To my utmost surprise (I love surprises, by the way), Gordon Swaby has nominated my blog as one of the best Jamaican blogs for 2007! Gordon, I know I’ve expressed it several times, but thank you again. I certainly didn’t expect this honour, and it leaves me feeling quite humbled.
What a note on which to start the New Year! Just what I needed.
Here’s to an awesome year. From what I’ve been seeing, and even hearing from some individuals, 2008 is already looking great.

Congrats JD! I sincerely think you deserve this recognition. I too, enjoy your blog. Haven’t checked many others yet, but that’s perhaps because I enjoy yours and do not have a lot of time to go elsewhere.
You’re simply good. A very prosperous New Year to you. Hope all your goals will materialise.
