Now that today’s headlines have blazoned the Finance Minister’s blunder (?), I can’t help but wonder if he’s wishing that he had stuffed more cake in his mouth instead.
This begs the question - a point first underscored by Jamaican Girl - How can he raise the nurses’ salaries, without doing the same for teachers and police officers?
